Organization is key with my memory issues and the color coordination of purple makes me feel the fun of life within that structure.  As my symptoms come so suddenly, especially at night, I have to be able to find what I need quickly.  I find the more order I have in the physical arrangement of these things, the less out of control I perceive my condition to be.   Friendly reminders of friends who gift me the decoration of medical items makes me remember I am loved and makes my bad pain days more bearable.
